What Are Alumni Dues?
Graduates of Free Gospel Bible Institute are encouraged to support their Alma Mater through paying annual dues. The fee is $15.00 for an Individual alumnus, and $25.00 for a married alumni couple. These donations are tax deductible and help the Alumni Association support F.G.B.I. through various projects that help improve the campus.
Are Class Dues & Alumni Dues the Same Thing?
No. There has been some confusion, especially in recent years, about the difference between Class and Alumni dues. Many have assumed that "Pay Your Dues" meant "pay your class dues" which... many people have done so, and since these were paid, they assumed that they did not need to pay any Alumni dues. Alumni dues are separate all together. Your Class Dues are assigned to you by your class while you are in school, and are (presently) collected at the time you pay your school fees. This money is used for your Class's expenses, such as putting on the Senior Banquet, buying class trees, senior class picnic, and giving a gift to the school upon graduation. The Alumni dues are yearly dues paid to the Alumni to cover expenses such as alumni convention meals and speakers, newsletters and, projects to raise money and be a blessing to the school. Both entities are completely separate.
