Go Back to Class of 1995
Tonya (Lambert) Burgess
During Bible School: I was involved in choir, assisting teachers in grading, worked in the library. I graduated Salutatorian in my class. I also went on several outside ministries. I met my late husband, Stephen at his FGBI graduation in 1992.
Since Graduating: I taught in a Christian School, was a missionary in the Philippines and have taught at FGBI. I have also been actively involved in my church as a Sunday School teacher, choir, playing for altar service and helping in anyway possible. After Steve and I got married in 2005 we pastored a church in North Carolina. I also enjoy singing. Currently I am in nursing school and still try to help my church in anyway that I can.
Current Church Home: Trinity Holiness Tabernacle, Rev. Michael Johnson (Class of 1988)
"I learned at FGBI to fully commit my life to God and to trust Him in every circumstance. I learned that He is faithful! I enjoyed all three years and would do it all over again in a heart beat! I learned so much from the girls' Sunday school classes taught by Sis Roles, Sis Petit and Sis Bryer-Miracle/ Sis Heath. These classes were the most influential on my life and establishing me in what I believed. Favorite saying became, "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God"
