Children: Timothy J.L. Hall, Stephen N. Hall
During Bible School: Student Maintenance Worker Electronics Sound Engineer for live broadcast Water Truck Driver One Outside Ministry Nothing Fancy, just graduated Ministerial Involvement: Pastor of Free Gospel Church, Saltsburg, PA. Religious Petty Officer during NAVY Boot Camp, Protestant Lay Leader while assigned and deployed aboard the USS HENRY B. WILSON, DDG-7 for four years, and three months. During this time, I established a fine group of Christian men, and the Captain made sure that I was allotted time to conduct Bible studies on a regular basis. I chose to conduct our Bible study under the Wing Bridge, where the Captain would sit. I was also responsible to serve Communion at the beginning of each month. Counseling shipmates was a regular duty, but was taken seriously, and the Holy Ghost would give me the right words to say, while staying within the boundaries of military bearings. While in port, we would go in groups of those who had Liberty. A Church or Missionary group would meet us at the port in a Mercedes, which caused a little irritation for the Captain. Christian Accountability was always our rules to stay away from trouble. We would attend Church while in port, if possible. I was allowed to bring one of my guitars along with me, (Epiphone ES-335),and I was able to share some of the songs that I was inspired to write. Returned to Tucson following my Honorable Discharge to join the 162nd Fighter Wing. I had no Official Christian Office there, but I did have my testimony, and superior work habits and skills to diagnose problems with our F-16's. After 20 years, I received an Honorable Discharge, on the basis of medical reasons. I retired on October 25, 2004. I have been diagnosed with Autonomic Nervous System Dysfunction. This is a terminal disease, and there is no cure for it. Several times I was found on the floor with symptoms of a heart attack, but it wasn't. Minute electrical signals that was to be sent to my heart and lungs were redirected to another organ. Now for the greatest testimony to the awesome Power of Jesus Christ that I have ever experienced in my life. I had suddenly been fallen to DKA, or Diabetic Keto Acidosis. There is a 5% chance of survival. While in the ICU, I had blood curdaling nightmares while sleeping, and all I could see was darkness, and a great fear of the monster chasing me. I didn't know who I was, but I ran to every possible hiding place, but it was always there waiting for me. I didn't know of a God, or of any help to cry out to. Then, Wednesday night, while in the throws of another of these nightmares, a gentle, loving hand was placed on my right shoulder, and another lifted my right hand. instantly, I woke, and found no human in my room as my hand touched the sheet.. When I didn't know about His Divine help, He saw me, and came to me with compassion, and Power to lift me from this horror. I have never had a nightmare again. That was three years ago. During my service at this base, I was also a Civil Servant. But I gave that up to work for Family Life Communications. I was responsible to make sure that our customers all over America and Canada received their Christian programming, and on time. Being a good steward of their limited funds, I developed a way and drafted the contract with Spacecom in Chicago to go direct to them, and save about $65,000 per month. Other arrangements were made to sell empty time slots on a five year contract, for collectively a gain of almost $5,000,000,00 per year. To me, this was my ministry at that moment. Currently: I am terminally disabled, and have many limitations. I have been involved in playing my 1955 Hofner Bass guitar with The Tucson Messengers. I stayed with them, and traveled all over the US playing and singing the Gospel. I was with them for over eight years. We recorded two CD's, and our first one won the CMA Album of the Year. The next year, we won the Song of the Year. There is more to follow. I've just run out of time. |
The excitement in the presence of all of the Instructors, The serves were all filled with presence of the Holy Ghost. Even with each task, I could feel Jesus looking over my shoulder's, to make sure that I will not be injured by anything that I was doing in His name. The classes has built a strong foundation that has stayed with me throughout all of these years.
